Perhaps more challenging, what do our neighbors think when they hear the word “Church”? We’d like to get them to put their thoughts in six words as well.
As we look toward the vibrant future God is calling us into, we need to know what we don’t know. This simple survey is a way to begin exploring what the church means to people, those in it and those not.
Please take a moment to complete the following survey: http://obsurvey.com/S2.aspx?id=D2154AAA-1078-4DCF-881E-EE7C045B042C
Furthermore, pass this along to your friends and neighbors, especially those who do not regularly attend church. You may even print out this post and use the QR code below to share :)

Why is this difficult to find?
ReplyDeleteI got a notice of the survey in an email and in one Facebook post. It's difficult to find it again. I'm surprised there's nothing about it on the front page of the Diocesan web. And the only way to find the blog is to take the survey. I had to take the survey twice in order to find this, since I didn't bookmark it. (I have now.)
Thanks for bookmarking us! In the coming weeks, the team has personally taken it upon ourselves to make ourselves more visible to the whole Diocese. We are working hard on all of this, both from a technology standpoint and a personal one.
ReplyDeleteThat was the coolest survey ever!
ReplyDeleteThanks! We have been getting a lot of awesome responses and the entire team is looking forward to seeing the trends develop as even more responses come in!

I have a number of acquaintances who have completed the survey, and they're interested in seeing what patterns you see in the responses. Will there be something published/posted giving us a sense of this?
ReplyDeleteWe are shooting to collect ~2000 responses in the survey. We're about a quarter of the way there already. Once we hit that critical point we will examine the commonalities among the responses and report back on what we found. So hang in there :)

Here's my answer. "The continuation of Jesus' works in the world."
ReplyDeleteThanks for that input, Cal!
